Welcome to my entry for the March 2017 Joyful Stars Blog Hop. Thank you for stopping by. If you have arrived here from Donna's Blog, you are on the right track.
I have been so very busy this past week, prepping for a scrapbooking crop that I host every other month, that I haven't had all that much time for my own crafting. However, I still wanted to share a couple of projects that I made for the crop this weekend.
My crop is going to have a St. Patrick's Day theme. I always make the ladies some decorative name tags, and this time I wanted to make up some kits that they could create a layout with. There are always photo props at my crops, so I like to give my girls a layout where they could scrap their photos from that particular crop.
Using the some very old, bordering on ancient, Close To My Heart paper called "Flirty" and armed with my CTMH Flower Market and Artbooking Cricut Cartridges, I went to work. I fell in love with a dimensional Shamrock featured in Flower Market, and used that on both projects. I picked a border from my Artbooking cartridge and cut it out of Gold Glitter Paper. For some added interest, I flicked some watercolor paint behind the "Lucky" title and added the little square centers of my border to various points in the layout. The title, however, is not a CTMH Cricut cut. It is actually from a Heidi Swapp cartridge that I am loving at the moment. I also added a swipe of the CTMH Gold Shimmer Brush to the edges of my Shamrocks on the layout. I like the something extra it gives to them.
Thanks for stopping by this month to visit me. Next up, you will be hopping back to the beginning of our hop and visiting Joyce's blog. See you next time!
