CTMH A Bushel and a Peck Heart Card

Have you seen the CTMH A Bushel and a Peck Stamp of the Month yet?

I am here to show off its cuteness for my stop on the June 2018 Joyful Stars Blog Hop.  If you have arrived here by way of Michelle's blog, you are on the right track!

Today's card began with a card base cut out of the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge.  I thought those hearts would make a darling background for my A Bushel and a Peck girl.   It was cut from Kraft cardstock and backed with a little piece of pink patterned paper from the CTMH Documented paper pack.

I pulled out my favorite CTMH product at the moment,
the Thin Cuts - Stitched Hearts die set.  I can't help myself, I have been adding hearts to absolutely everything.  I thought a big Gold Glitter heart would anchor my girl to the card.  It worked, but I also discovered something amazing.
The smallest stitched heart was a perfect match for my Artfully Sent card overlay hearts!  Using my exact cut file, that is.  Here is the link:  https://design.cricut.com/#/design/96763985

I added White and Gold Ribbon and White Dots for embellishments. And I almost forgot to mention that my girl was colored entirely using CTMH ShinHan Markers!  I love the control that they offer me while coloring!

Thank you for stopping by GIRLplusPAPER for this month's Joyful Stars Blog Hop.  I hope you enjoy CTMH's A Bushel and a Peck stamp set as much as I do!  Next up is my fellow Jersey girl, Marie, at her blog NJ Stamping Queen.

CTMH Calypso Cards

The summery, cheerful Calypso paper suite will only be here for a few more days.  And since I will be leaving tomorrow for CKC in Lancaster, PA, I wanted to share quite a few Calypso cards with you.  I won't run through every single product with you, but I do want to mention the Art Philosophy, Artfully Sent, and even the Artiste Cricut cartridges.  They will be leaving us in just four days, and I used AP and AS in my cards below.

CTMH Lucky Layout for the Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog post for the Joyful Stars February 2016 Blog Hop.  If you have arrived here from Lori's blog,  craftymeadows.blogspot.com, you are on the correct path.

I was looking at some pieces from my Penelope paper pack that I had left after creating another layout.  (I might still need to post that one lol!)  I had quite a bit of green patterned cardstock left.  I also recently purchased some Green Glitter Paper from our Clearance section (at a great price, while supplies last) and the two screamed St. Patrick's Day layout to me.  All of the cuts were made from my Close To My Heart Cricut cartridges, many are actually cards from our Artfully Sent cartridge.  I love using my cartridges in unexpected ways. A few Bling Gems in Gold, a bow from some old ribbon I had in my CTMH stash, and some old Fundamentals paper for the dark green shamrocks complete the look.

I plan on scrapping one of my own trips into the city, New York City that is, where my daughter marched in the St. Patrick's Day Parade throughout high school.  Now to find those photos among the millions that reside on my computer!

Next stop on your hop will be Donna's blog, http://www.hintsofhappiness.com/.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope that you enjoyed my layout and are inspired to make your own.  I plan on releasing my cutting file soon to help you with the sizing of everything, so please check back.

CTMH Zoe Blog Hop - Magical Layout

Welcome to our CTMH Zoe Blog Hop!  We are all excited to share our amazing projects made with this brand new paper line from CTMH.  Zoe appears in our brand new Annual Inspirations catalog that will make its premiere on September 1st, but all of the Zoe products are available now!

If you have arrived here from the very talented Jennifer Wolford's blog, you are on the right track!

So, onto my Zoe project...

The moment that I first set eyes upon Zoe, it spoke to me.  The cheerful colors and adorable patterns told me I needed to create a Disney themed layout with it right away.  So, that is exactly what I did.  I was very inspired by a layout that I had seen that was created by Liz Mullins Johnson.  She had created a wonderful birthday layout using a pattern out of CTMH's Make It From Your Heart instruction books.  She also included an adorable star overlay from the CTMH Cricut collection, Artbooking, that I duplicated.  Using cardstock from my Zoe paper pack, I followed the cutting guide provided in the instruction book and built my layout from there.  I decided that adding a little sparkle would be the right thing to do on the layout, so I used some Silver Glitter paper for my title and to back my little "Oh So Happy" Picture My Life card.

That little card was cut out of black cardstock using the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge.  Speaking of cartridges, did you see that fancy font that I used for the word "Magical"?

It was cut from the brand spanking new cartridge from CTMH called Artistry.  I love that font, and all of the 700+ images that join it on the cartridge.  I also used the font from our Artbooking cartridge to cut the other words.  I enjoy being able to create my own custom titles in Cricut Design Space with my new Explore.  I am having a blast, I tell ya!

For the finishing touch, I created some little Mickey heads out of CTMH sequins, and sprinkled some Glacier colored sequins here and there on the pages.  I will soon be sad to see some of the colors that are now available gone, as they are retiring at the end of this month :(

I hope that you have enjoyed my Zoe layout with a Disney spin.  Please be sure to become a follower of my blog if you would like to see more of my artwork in the future!

Next up in the Zoe Blog Hop is my friend, the very, very talented Cindy Mercurio with Cinful Crafts.

And just in case you get lost along the way, here is a list of all of the talented artists that have created a Zoe project to share with you!

CTMH Snowhaven Cards for the Joyful Stars Blog Hop January 2015

Welcome to the January Joyful Stars Blog Hop!  If you found your way here from Crystal's blog, you are on the right track.

I am so glad that you decided to stop by and see what I have been working on.  This month's entries all feature the vibrant CTMH Snowhaven paper pack.

This first card is made from one of our CTMH White Daisy Spin Cards.  I stamped the sayings, trees and snowflakes using the stampset from the CTMH Snowhaven Cardmaking Workshop On the Go.  The cute little Red Enamel Hearts came in that kit too, but can be purchased separately as well.  The snowflake elements on the spinner and the scalloped frame were cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, an oldie but goodie!
Next up is this stunning glacier and black floral card.  The floral overlay was cut using the CTMH Artfully Sent Cartridge.  Some of our Gold Bling Gems and Black Striped Twill Ribbon complete this simple, yet impactful card.
The last little 3"x3" card was so fun to make.  I cut a 1.5"x3" strip off of the front my card.  It was this piece that I then turned sideways and attached the sentiment to.  That sentiment was stamped using one of my favorite stamp sets, Lovely Birthday.   That adorable little flower was also stamped from the same set using two different scraps of paper.  I pop dotted the layers and added a little Clear Sparkle.  Again, very easy and I love it.

Well that is it for this month's Joyful Stars Blog Hop.  Feel free to follow my blog if you want to keep up with all my crafty adventures.  Next on the hop is my very good friend, the talented Lori "Crafty Meadows".  Have fun hopping!

Joyful Hearts Blog Hop for December 2014

Welcome to my blog and the Joyful Stars blog hop for December 2014.  If you landed here from Cindy's blog, you are on the right path.

This month I have a very easy layout to share with you.  My background papers are from a CTMH paper pack called Yuletide.  Do you see the cranberry garland element on the left side of the layout?  It is actually a card cut from our new CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge!  The inside of the card made a great spot to create a 5"x7" photo mat.  Clever, right???  I also created 2 - 4"x6" photo mats out of cranberry cardstock for the right side of my layout.  A little Cranberry Striped Twill Ribbon for the bows and a Gold Bling Gem on the little envelope on the right side of the layout add just the right embellishment.  And as for that little envelope and all of the other little pieces of artwork and saying cards are just a sampling of what you will receive inside a package of My Crush Holiday Happenings Assortment.  I love taking items, like the My Crush, and creating something unexpected with them, such as this traditional layout.

I hope that you have enjoyed your time at my blog for this month's hop.  Please hop on back to Joyce's blog to see her amazing artwork.  See you next month!

CTMH Artfully Sent Candy Corn Kisses Layout

I had to come up with a quick and easy layout to teach at a crop on Saturday, and I really wanted to show my group of scrapbookers that the new CTMH Artfully Sent cartridge was for so much more than cardmaking.  I decided to include 3 different elements from the cartridge.  The "Candy Corn Kisses" element is actually made from a card, and I decided to use only the front of it as my title.  The "Eat, Drink and be Scary" element is actually a pocket card element that I decided to use other than in a PL or PML application.  Lastly, the spooky tree was just one of the countless images included on the new cartridge for our cutting enjoyment.  A little CTMH Silver Geometric Washi Tape and some Silver Sequins give some finishing touches. I should also mention that this layout features some long retired CTMH paper, as I have this in bulk and decided it would be a perfect background to the Artfully Sent elements.  Never stop looking at your images in different ways.  You never know what you might come up with!
