CTMH Grateful Heart Gather at the Pumpkin Patch Layout

Welcome to my post for the last of my CTMH Grateful Heart layouts.  This layout is another of my favorites.  It grew out of the pumpkins from both the Grateful Heart Complements and from the pumpkin Picture My Life card from the Grateful Heart paper pack.
I knew I wanted it to be a curly mess of vines, and I wanted it to have tall, skinny pumpkins as well as shorter, chubby pumpkins.  All pumpkins can't be the same size, right, or the patch would be a boring place!  I loved the pumpkin on the CTMH You Are Here Cricut Cartridge, but it only came in one size.  To fix this issue, I unlocked the proportions of the image in Cricut Design Space and created the pumpkin of my dreams.
The vines were cuts from our CTMH Flower Market Cricut cartridge.  I love how you can play with all of the CTMH Cricut cartridges at once in CDS.
My next design road block came in the form of which papers would work for the pumpkins.  I wanted variety.  I decided not to go with solid cardstock, and instead went with three of the patterned cardstocks in the Grateful Heart paper pack.  I manipulated their colors by dabbing with some of our soon to be retired, small pigment ink pads.  I also added a little gold shimmer with the help of our Shimmer Brush-Gold.
"Patch" from the title was cut from Gold Glitter Paper using the Block Alphabet Thin Cuts.  The little words "at the" were stamped using the cute little Modern Type Alphabet stamp set.The wooden looking hearts are also from the Grateful Heart Complements, and I added some little cork leaves, which are from the Grateful Heart Cork Shapes.

All of the new products will be available on September 1, 2018, at which time I will update the links.

Finally, let me share with you the Cricut Design Space file for this layout.  Here is the link:

CTMH Grateful Heart Gather Together Layout

This Grateful Heart layout is among my favorite creations.  When I saw that pretty Sapphire lattice paper from the Grateful Heart paper pack, I knew that it needed some pretty flowers and a layout idea was born.
I drew two points of inspiration from our new CTMH Love of Color book.  First, the circular arrangement of the flowers on the left page was taken from a layout with the occasional hearts placed in the manner, from the book.  Second, the colors were also suggestions to pull together from CMTH Love of Color.  It is a priceless reference book, and should be on the top of your wish list from the new Holiday Expressions 2018.

Did you happen to notice the "floral tiles" that are stamped in White Daisy Ink?  Those are from the awesome new Snug Backgrounds stamp set.  I love how they anchor the asters (I call them daisies) from the CTMH Flower Market Cricut Cartridge, to the page.  Just the perfect addition of texture in my opinion.  I relied heavily on the butterflies and little chipboard flowers from the CTMH Complements to round out the layout embellishments.

Some Silver Glitter Gems add just a little more sparkle to the layout, don't you agree?

All of these products will be available on September 1, 2018, when the Holiday Expressions catalog goes live.  I will be back to link to all of the products used at that time.  Thanks for looking!

CTMH Grateful Heart Freedom Layout

CTMH Grateful Heart has just got to be the most versatile paper suite ever!  With its pomegranate and sapphire papers, I immediately thought of a patriotic themed layout.  I thought that I could use it for some of our military photos, but it could easily be used for Memorial Day or 4th of July photos too.
Remember that Grateful Heart will be available beginning on September 1st, at which time I will update all of the links to the products that you will need.  You will need ownership of our CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge to make the cuts in the file listed below.  Here is a list of some of the other products used:
Stitched Borders Stamp Set
Snug Borders Stamp Set
Grateful Heart Paper Pack

CTMH More Magical Layout Toy Story Style

Do you have a backlog of Disney vacation photos to scrapbook?  I certainly do!  Years and years worth!!!

Or maybe you just returned from a magical adventure?

In any event, here’s a great product suite to get them all scrapbooked.  It is called CTMH More Magical, and it will be gone by September 2018, at the very latest.  The More Magical vibrant color palette will make easy work of your task.

Although there is a great set of directions for you to download right on my CTMH website, I decided to use my Toy Story Cricut cartridge, along with several off palette colors of cardstock to document these particular photos.  The official CTMH directions give you a 4 double layout / 8 card option.  I plan on making those too!  I think that if you click here, you should see the download guide below where you add the workshop to the cart.

You might have noticed that little note card above.  I used a CTMH Artiste Cartridge cut, to replicate one of the signs in one of my photos.  I even tore off two of the little notches to make it match more closely.  Yup, I wanted this to be perfect!

Additionally, I used CTMH Thin Cuts Basic Stars for all 4 sizes of stars that you see.  The Willow Green loopy stamp that runs behind Slinky is actually part of a Christmas themed stamp set that will be available as of September 1st.  I will update the link at that time.

Thank you for looking at my CTMH More Magical layout!

CTMH Cut Above Holiday Kitchen Layout

Sometimes, I like to do something completely unexpected.
This layout is one of those unexpected creations.
I used pieces from a new (available on September 1st) recipe book kit by CTMH called Holiday Kitchen.  I used the title pages and some recipe cards as photo mats.  A new falala Thin Cuts for the title, and a border stamp from the new Holiday Borders stamp set add to the holiday feel.  The embellishments are poinsettias cut from our CTMH Cricut cartridges.
So, without further ado, here is the layout.

Remember, all of the supplies needed to make these layouts will be available for purchase on September 1st.

CTMH For the Love of Crafting Gift Tag

This morning I decided to start planning for one of my upcoming scrapbooks retreat.  My November event is going to be themed after our CTMH Convention "Create".

I want to give each attendee a little stamp set that they can use to create with, and I wanted it to look cute.

I pulled out my August Stamp of the Month, For the Love of Crafting, and made some little tags to top my bag.  I love that there is a coordinating CTMH Cricut cut on our You Are Here cartridge. This stamp set is only available during August 2018, and then it is gone forever!

Be sure to grab yours today for only $5 with a qualifying purchase.

One little side note...the Cricut file has a second cloud for the layer behind the Endless Summer title.  If you would like to achieve my title layer, I am afraid fussy cutting is in your future :)  The little cloud will need to be flipped to the darker side once removed from your mat, to make it pop off the base cloud.

For the Love of Crafting Card

CTMH's For the Love of Crafting...it's the August 2018 Stamp of the Month.

Designed just for girls like us!  You know, the crafters out there.

I whipped up a quick card with this set today.  This isn't just an ordinary card though.  It is special because it gives you a little glimpse into a few of the new, not yet released, products coming from CTMH on September 1st.  Here is my For the Love of Crafting card for you to look at, and below we can talk about the new goodness.

So, where to start?  Let's start with the Sneak Peek of the new color of the year.  Sugarplum.  You can see it at play in the Glitter Paper, Ink and Glitter Gems.  Isn't it so trendy and pretty.  It is like a dusty, plumy, pink.  So pretty.
Next up you may have noticed a little Silver Embellishing Thread?  It adds a fun, quirky little pop to your projects.  Lastly, you might have spied a new color cardstock called Sage.  It goes so well with the Sugarplum and Sapphire.

My favorite new Sneak Peek isn't something so easily spotted.

Did you notice the unique, yet cohesive color palette?  It is from this AMAZING new color theory book called, Love of Color.  It covers the CTMH color rainbow, makes color combination suggestions and it has gorgeous, inspiring artwork.

The For the Love of Crafting stamp set is available this month only!  It is only $5 with a qualifying purchase on my website.

As for the new products, you will need to wait until September 1st for those to be available to the public.

Or, do you????

You could join my GIRLplusPAPERhearts team today and you will have early access to all of the new goodies too!  Click here to join my team today.
