Close To My Heart November Craft with Heart Subscription Part 2

A few days ago, I shared Jana Eubank's video that showed her creative process with the first of two layout kits from the November Create with Heart Subscription.  Here is the second layout, as created by Jana.  I think she did a beautiful job with her interpretation, so I really wanted to share.  If you choose to purchase the November box, you will get both of the two layouts featured in these videos.

Oh What Fun - Magical Layout

Would you like to create an easy layout?
Here is a really simple layout that I pulled together with the help of a pattern that I had on hand.  It features the CTMH Oh What Fun paper pack and Oh What Fun Complements.  What makes it really fun and whimsical are the Thin Cuts accents.  I started with some Raspberry Cardstock big scalloped borders that I cut using the Decorative Borders Thin Cuts.  I then added a blizzard of Winter Flurries Thin Cuts, cut from Sugar Plum Glitter Cardstock.  To finish off my Flurries, I added some sequins from my package of Silver Loose Sequins.  LOVE THEM!   They photographed a little on the purple side, but they are like a clear pearlescent sequin that I used out of the package.
Oops!  I almost forgot to mention that I used the Stitched Borders stamp set with Intense Black Ink to stamp around my squares of patterned paper.
Here is a close up of some of the details.

(If not, feel free to click on the link above to find out a little bit more.)
Each month, there are two double layouts.  In the video above, by blogger Jana Eubank, she shows you what she created with one of the two layouts.
It's a fun, informative video.

CTMH Wonder of the Season Cards and Tags

Wonder of the Season - a new holiday stamp set from CTMH.
I was given this elegant set to create with as part of my CTMH Extravaganza products.  I didn't quite know how to handle it.  After all, my initial impression of the Grateful Heart paper suite was that it had everything to do with Autumn and nothing to do with Christmas.  At all.  Nada.  Nothing.
I was so very wrong.  Most of the patterned cardstock in the Grateful Heart paper pack was subtle, and could in fact be easily used for my Christmas projects and beyond.

I stamped all of the images with our Intense Black ink, onto the Watercolor Paper.
I outlined all of the images of the poinsettia flowers and leaves using the Watercolor Pencils, and I blended the color using either our Clear or Gold Shimmer Brush, depending on whether I wanted to add a little gold accent or not.
Liquid Glass accents were used to create dimension on the golden areas of the poinsettia card and tag.  I did not have access to the Wonder of the Season Thin Cuts that had been available at one point, so I fussy cut the images that were used on the tags.  It was a little work, but I love how they turned out.
On the pinecone tag, I cut a Gold Glitter Paper circle from the Stitched Circle Thin Cuts die, and topped it with another with the Watercolor Paper sentiment.
A bow from some White and Gold Skinny Ribbon was the perfect accent to both of the tags.
And of course, a few Gold-Flecked Gems completed the pinecone card.
I hope that this post inspires you to create your own beautiful tags and cards with the Wonder of the Season stamp set!

CTMH Season of Joy - Hot Cocoa and Candy Canes Layout

Welcome to my project post for the Joyful Stars November Blog Hop.  If you have landed here by way of Joyce's blog, you are on the right track!
Today, I am sharing a layout that I made with my CTMH Season of Joy Cricut collection.
I love playing with my Season of Joy cartridge, manipulating the images within Cricut Design Space to expand upon what the cartridge can do, and here is the result...

I began my layout using CTMH Seasons Mix-in paper as my page bases.  (I needed 2 packs to get the 2 sheets.)  All of the images were cut from my Season of Joy Cricut collection using solid colored CTMH Cardstock, with the exception of the bows, which were cut from CTMH Gold Foil Paper.

To add some embellishment, I used Red Pearls on top of my snowflakes, and put some sparkle on the candy canes and snowflakes using my Clear Shimmer Brush.

Now please hop over to see what the very talented Debi has in store for you over at That Might Look Good on a Card.
