You might notice that the round wreath is made by curving one of the Stitched Border stamps on the block. Don't you just love the My Acrylix stamps and their ability to change shapes?

Welcome to September! It is an exciting month for me, the kids go back to school, the cooler, drier air will be arriving shortly (so bye bye frizzy hair) and Close To My Heart has released a brand new Holiday Expressions catalog with exciting products!
This month, we are featuring the cutest stamp of the month set, Just Treats. It spans the holiday seasons, but I decided that I needed to start with a little Halloween card.
The card features many of our new products, including:
Here is one of the cards that I made as part of my CTMH Extravaganza Presentation while at our annual CTMH Convention. I was among the very first to play with this new Grateful Hearts paper suite.
Below this photo of the card, you will find my YouTube video that will show you my techniques for using the CTMH Watercolor Pencils and Watercolor Paper to create the results that I achieved in my card.
Want to know how we made those little CTMH Bushel and a Peck Cards?
The set of 12 that were featured a few posts back?
Emma and I have made two videos. Warning though, they are a little rough. We dropped the phone and nearly broke it, so that is the reason for having two videos. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy our bloopers, I mean - how to videos lol!
I am here to show off its cuteness for my stop on the June 2018 Joyful Stars Blog Hop. If you have arrived here by way of Michelle's blog, you are on the right track!
Today's card began with a card base cut out of the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. I thought those hearts would make a darling background for my A Bushel and a Peck girl. It was cut from Kraft cardstock and backed with a little piece of pink patterned paper from the CTMH Documented paper pack.
I pulled out my favorite CTMH product at the moment,
the Thin Cuts - Stitched Hearts die set. I can't help myself, I have been adding hearts to absolutely everything. I thought a big Gold Glitter heart would anchor my girl to the card. It worked, but I also discovered something amazing.
The smallest stitched heart was a perfect match for my Artfully Sent card overlay hearts! Using my exact cut file, that is. Here is the link: https://design.cricut.com/#/design/96763985
I added White and Gold Ribbon and White Dots for embellishments. And I almost forgot to mention that my girl was colored entirely using CTMH ShinHan Markers! I love the control that they offer me while coloring!
Thank you for stopping by GIRLplusPAPER for this month's Joyful Stars Blog Hop. I hope you enjoy CTMH's A Bushel and a Peck stamp set as much as I do! Next up is my fellow Jersey girl, Marie, at her blog NJ Stamping Queen.
Welcome to GIRLplusPAPER and my entry for the Joyful Stars May 2018 blog hop! If you have arrived here from Marie's blog, NJ Stamping Queen, you are on the right track. Today I am sharing a card that uses up even more of the scraps from my CTMH Postcard Perfect paper pack. If you haven't heard of CTMH Postcard Perfect yet, it is the product suite that is being offered this month only by CTMH in celebration of National Scrapbooking Month. I have created 7 scrapbook pages out of the paper pack and coordinating cardstock, and you can look back on my last post to see one of them if you'd like. I do want to quickly add that my card was inspired by a Pinterest photo, and I can't give proper credit because the website was completely in Russian, or at least that is what it looks like to me!
To create the card, I started with a card base, and added a piece of Peacock Cardstock to cover the front. I made 4 planks of wood out of the woodgrain piece of cardstock, and I inked the edges. I then layered rectangles of Postcard Perfect vellum to create a base for my floral arrangement. All of the flowers and leaves were cut out of the CTMH Flower Market cartridge. What a phenomenal cartridge that is!
For embellishment, I added some twine from the Whimsy Ribbon pack, retired Cream Ribbon and some Gold Pearls in the centers of my flowers. The center of the big poppy flower (totally not tropical right?) was cut out of a piece of CTMH Gold Glitter Cardstock. To finish off my card, I added one of the many sentiments from the Short & Sweet stamp set. That little, inexpensive stamp set really touches on so many occasions, and Happy Mother's Day fit so well on the woodgrain plank. Of course, this card will best be given in person and not mailed! If you would like to make your own card, I am sharing my Cricut Design Space file with you. You will need the CTMH Flower Market cartridge though. Welcome to my CTMH blog, and my entry for the February 2018 Joyful Stars Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Debi's blog, That Might Look Good on a Card, you are on the right track! For my blog hop project, I have designed a card that used many of the products featured in the February Pretty In Pink special. I wanted to pay special attention to the adorable stamp set called Banner Love. I had seen some posts asking if anyone had made cards with the set yet, so I set out to make one. I stamped both the Pebble and the Bashful cardstock with hearts and dots found in the stamp set. I cut out the banner layers using the Thin Cuts Basic Banners set, and used some Gold Glitter Paper which is also included in the Pretty In Pink promotion. Thin Cuts Basic Banners are the perfect tool to use with the Banner Love stamp set!
The card still need a little something, even after I added the sentiment on the banner pieces, so I pulled out my Thin Cuts - Heart Border. This set has two pieces, as you see in the photo below, so I used Bashful Glitter Paper along with Gold Glitter Paper to make my border. I can't begin to tell you how much I love this combination!!!
And the Pretty In Pink card needed a partner! So I pulled out my Thin Cuts Gift Card Box and whipped up a box perfect to put in a little gift or a gift card. Isn't it cute?
Here is a close up view of the card details. It looks like it took forever, but it came together so effortlessly with the help of the Thin Cuts!
I hope you have enjoyed your time here at GIRLplusPAPER. Feel free to pin this card to your Pinterest boards if you would like, or become a follower of my blog so that you don't miss out on any of the projects in between our monthly hops. Welcome to GIRLplusPAPER and my entry for the Joyful Stars Blog Hop for November 2017. If you have arrived here from the very talentedMichelle's blog, you are on the right track!
I am sharing several projects made with the gorgeous CTMH Silver & Gold paper suite. They were all designed by a guest designer, Beth Recksiek. Beth is not only a member of my CTMH downline, but she is also my mom. Seeing as she does not blog, she gave me full permission to share away with my readers. (Although, I had a tiny bit of input on design when it came to the cards.)
Next up are the beautiful cards. The first one is a simple 4" square card made on a Cranberry base. The sparkly gold "joy" is actually a piece out of the Silver & Gold Complement package. It is embellished with a little poinsettia flower cut out of the CTMH Flower Market Cricut Cartridge.
The next card features a striking gold striped cardstock out of the Silver & Gold paper pack. It features this beautiful image stamped with the CTMH First Noel stamp set. I love how the ornament was stamped with the Nativity Scene so that it becomes the centerpiece of this card. It has such a clean, yet elegant look to it.
And the last card shows off the true versatility of the Silver & Gold paper pack - its ability to coordinate with just about any color of CTMH cardstock. Here, it is paired with our beautiful new Bashful cardstock, which is also CTMH's color of the year. The base was made with Gold Foil Paper, layered with a piece of Bashful cardstock, and followed up with a Picture My Life Card. Its gold glittery embellishment comes straight out of the Silver & Gold Complement package, and it is finished off with our gorgeous Bashful Pearls.
Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog along the hop. I hope that you have enjoyed the beautiful artwork that Beth shared with us!

Just a quick post with lots of artwork today! I recently returned from the most amazing CTMH convention trip ever, in SLC, Utah. I had wanted to make some cards to swap, but I was quickly running out of time. Inspiration hit when I found a ton of cut up Enchantment Fundamentals paper that I was given at the 2016 convention. I was supposed to make some cards with it back then, but I didn't love the cards and I was at Disney, so I simply never made them. I paired those pieces with the June Stamp of the Month, Hello Foxy. (I totally lifted the idea from another talented CTMH consultant, and now I can't seem to find her name :0 ) The stamped elements were all colored with our CTMH ShinHan markers. I must admit, I love them more than my set of Copics, as I feel I have better control over the coloring with the shorter nibs.
So, without making you wait any longer, here are the cards!
Welcome to my entry in the Joyful Stars blog hop for April!
If you have arrived here from my friend Krista's blog, Krista's Crafty Corner, you are on the right track. I wanted to share a special card with you on this installment of our hop. You might be wondering why I am saying it is special...that's because I am giving you a sneak peek. Shhhh! The white paper will the beautiful gold embossing is one of the papers featured in our not yet available paper pack that is for CTMH's National Scrapbooking Day campaign, Live Beautifully. It will not be available for purchase until May 1st, and I will update the links on this very post at that time.
In addition to the CTMH Live Beautifully paper packet, I used a number of CTMH products to make this pretty card. The "love" cutout was made using our Gold Glitter Paper along with our Love Thin Cuts metal die. I used Raspberry Cardstock for my base layer and also for cutting out the stunning rose from our CTMH Flower Market Cricut Cartridge. (BTW, this cartridge has over 700 images and has oh so much more than flowers!) Before assembling the rose, I stamped it with a stamp to make the dots. The stamp was also from my CTMH Flower Market bundle. I used tone on tone stamping with Raspberry Ink. The center was cut from Lemon cardstock, and the leaf from New England Ivy cardstock. A piece of ribbon from our Enchantment Ribbon Pack gave the card a little more color and texture. I finished the rose by giving the petal edges a swipe with our Gold Shimmer Brush.
I am the last blog for this month's hop. Please hop back to the beginning if you would like. Here is the link to Joyce's blog, Joyful Creations. Thank you for stopping by to see me, and be sure to check back for more projects soon!
I have added a few photos taken during the creation of my rose. I am also going to share my Cricut Design Space Flower Market rose file with you. This rose is the actual size that I used for my A2 sized card. Please save my file by choosing "save as" and saving it to your own account. Please note that you will need to have your own copy of the CTMH Flower Market Cricut cartridge in order to cut out my rose. If you would like to purchase the cartridge, you may click here. When I saw this week's Mojo Monday 459 Sketch Challenge, I knew that I would need to use my new CTMH Flower Market Cricut Cartridge on my card. After all, it featured a flower in the sketch, so it was the perfect excuse to use CTMH Flower Market, right?
I used the flower image found on page 46 of my CTMH Flower Market handbook. I did not use the very center piece, and opted for the bling of a Florence Sequin instead. The bitty flowers were hand cut out of some scraps of paper and added just the finishing touches that I hoped for.
I am loving my CTMH Flower Market cartridge already, and I haven't even begun to scratch the surface. I try to sneak a cut in between loads of laundry...don't tell! Don't have the CTMH Flower Market yet? It is available in two formats, aphysical cartridge for $99 as well as a digital format for $79, and it is only available through CTMH Consultants such as myself. Click on the links if you would like to order yours!
I couldn't wait to create with my brand new Close To My Heart Flower Market Cricut cartridge. I saw this adorable little retro bicycle image and new that it would look incredible with our brand new CTMH Seaglass Glitter paper. I love the way it looks against the yellow and white Calypso paper. I finished the card off with some cute little flowers also cut from the cartridge.
