CTMH Grateful Heart - Fall Blessings Layout

As you might remember by my Create layout post, I was given the ultimate honor by Close To My Heart at our Annual Convention this year.  I was chosen to be one of six lucky ladies to unveil a new CTMH paper suite.  Mine is called Grateful Heart, and my heart was very grateful to be able to create the most amazing projects that I could dream up with this paper suite.

I have so much CTMH Grateful Heart goodness to share with you all, including 6 layouts.  I have broken the layouts up into groups of 3, and I have created corresponding cutting guides for each set.  On this post, I will be sharing my third layout, Fall Blessings.

Here is my Grateful Heart - Fall Blessings layout.

Here is a ink to the Cricut Design Space File.  You will need to own and have linked to your CDS account - CTMH Artbooking, CTMH Artistry and CTMH Flower Market to be able to cut the images for the six layouts that I will be sharing.

CTMH Grateful Heart - Endless Summer Layout

As you might remember by my Create layout post, I was given the ultimate honor by Close To My Heart at our Annual Convention this year.  I was chosen to be one of six lucky ladies to unveil a new CTMH paper suite.  Mine is called Grateful Heart, and my heart was very grateful to be able to create the most amazing projects that I could dream up with this paper suite.

I have so much CTMH Grateful Heart goodness to share with you all, including 6 layouts.  I have broken the layouts up into groups of 3, and I have created corresponding cutting guides for each set.  On this post, I will be sharing my first layout, Endless Summer.

Here is my Grateful Heart - Endless Summer layout.

One little side note...the Cricut file has a second cloud for the layer behind the Endless Summer title.  If you would like to achieve my title layer, I am afraid fussy cutting is in your future :)  The little cloud will need to be flipped to the darker side once removed from your mat, to make it pop off the base cloud.

For the Love of Crafting Card

CTMH's For the Love of Crafting...it's the August 2018 Stamp of the Month.

Designed just for girls like us!  You know, the crafters out there.

I whipped up a quick card with this set today.  This isn't just an ordinary card though.  It is special because it gives you a little glimpse into a few of the new, not yet released, products coming from CTMH on September 1st.  Here is my For the Love of Crafting card for you to look at, and below we can talk about the new goodness.

So, where to start?  Let's start with the Sneak Peek of the new color of the year.  Sugarplum.  You can see it at play in the Glitter Paper, Ink and Glitter Gems.  Isn't it so trendy and pretty.  It is like a dusty, plumy, pink.  So pretty.
Next up you may have noticed a little Silver Embellishing Thread?  It adds a fun, quirky little pop to your projects.  Lastly, you might have spied a new color cardstock called Sage.  It goes so well with the Sugarplum and Sapphire.

My favorite new Sneak Peek isn't something so easily spotted.

Did you notice the unique, yet cohesive color palette?  It is from this AMAZING new color theory book called, Love of Color.  It covers the CTMH color rainbow, makes color combination suggestions and it has gorgeous, inspiring artwork.

The For the Love of Crafting stamp set is available this month only!  It is only $5 with a qualifying purchase on my website.

As for the new products, you will need to wait until September 1st for those to be available to the public.

Or, do you????

You could join my GIRLplusPAPERhearts team today and you will have early access to all of the new goodies too!  Click here to join my team today.

CTMH Convention 2018 Layout for Joyful Stars July blog hop

Welcome to my entry for the Joyful Stars July 2018 blog hop!  If you have arrived here from Joyce's blog, you are on the right track!

I have made a quick and easy layout that I would like to share with you today.  I had the distinct honor of being one of six Extravaganza Presenters that got the privilege of unveiling artwork based on a never before seen CTMH paper suite.

Although I can't yet share that with you, I did want to start getting some of my own scrapbooking underway.

The layout is made with a CTMH Convention exclusive stamp set, as well as pieces of patterned cardstock from the Central Park and Beautiful Friendship paper packets.  It is an easy layout to replicate, and you could use any stamp set that fit your photo theme.

Now please, hop along to see what the very talented Debi has to share with you today on That Might Look Good on a Card.  See you next hop!

CTMH A Bushel and a Peck meets Documented Love Us Card Set

Want to make some really cute, really quick cards that are very inexpensive?  I have just the thing for you!  I have combined the June Close To My Heart stamp set, A Bushel and a Peck, with a set of CTMH Documented Love Us Picture My Life Cards and made 12 really cute cards!
We cut the big PML cards down just a bit, and layered the smaller PML cards on top to create our card fronts.  We adhered those on top of a White Daisy Card Base, added our stamped girls and sentiments (all colored with CTMH ShinHan Touch Twin markers) and embellished with some Gold Shimmer Trim.  On a few cards we added hearts cut using CTMH Stitched Hearts Thin Cuts.

My youngest child, Emma, helped me with coloring some of the girls, and I was so proud of her effort.

I hope that you like our cards.  Be sure to order your Stamp of the Month before it is gone at the end of this month.  I am sure that the PML cards and Stitched Heart Thin Cuts will be going quickly too, so get them while they last!

CTMH A Bushel and a Peck Heart Card

Have you seen the CTMH A Bushel and a Peck Stamp of the Month yet?

I am here to show off its cuteness for my stop on the June 2018 Joyful Stars Blog Hop.  If you have arrived here by way of Michelle's blog, you are on the right track!

Today's card began with a card base cut out of the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge.  I thought those hearts would make a darling background for my A Bushel and a Peck girl.   It was cut from Kraft cardstock and backed with a little piece of pink patterned paper from the CTMH Documented paper pack.

I pulled out my favorite CTMH product at the moment,
the Thin Cuts - Stitched Hearts die set.  I can't help myself, I have been adding hearts to absolutely everything.  I thought a big Gold Glitter heart would anchor my girl to the card.  It worked, but I also discovered something amazing.
The smallest stitched heart was a perfect match for my Artfully Sent card overlay hearts!  Using my exact cut file, that is.  Here is the link:  https://design.cricut.com/#/design/96763985

I added White and Gold Ribbon and White Dots for embellishments. And I almost forgot to mention that my girl was colored entirely using CTMH ShinHan Markers!  I love the control that they offer me while coloring!

Thank you for stopping by GIRLplusPAPER for this month's Joyful Stars Blog Hop.  I hope you enjoy CTMH's A Bushel and a Peck stamp set as much as I do!  Next up is my fellow Jersey girl, Marie, at her blog NJ Stamping Queen.

CTMH Postcard Perfect Mother's Day Card for the Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Welcome to GIRLplusPAPER and my entry for the Joyful Stars May 2018 blog hop!  If you have arrived here from Marie's blog, NJ Stamping Queen, you are on the right track.

Today I am sharing a card that uses up even more of the scraps from my CTMH Postcard Perfect paper pack.  If you haven't heard of CTMH Postcard Perfect yet, it is the product suite that is being offered this month only by CTMH in celebration of National Scrapbooking Month.  I have created 7 scrapbook pages out of the paper pack and coordinating cardstock, and you can look back on my last post to see one of them if you'd like.  I do want to quickly add that my card was inspired by a Pinterest photo, and I can't give proper credit because the website was completely in Russian, or at least that is what it looks like to me!

To create the card, I started with a card base, and added a piece of Peacock Cardstock to cover the front.  I made 4 planks of wood out of the woodgrain piece of cardstock, and I inked the edges.  I then layered rectangles of Postcard Perfect vellum to create a base for my floral arrangement.  All of the flowers and leaves were cut out of the CTMH Flower Market cartridge.  What a phenomenal cartridge that is!

For embellishment, I added some twine from the Whimsy Ribbon pack, retired Cream Ribbon and some Gold Pearls in the centers of my flowers.  The center of the big poppy flower (totally not tropical right?) was cut out of a piece of CTMH Gold Glitter Cardstock.  To finish off my card, I added one of the many sentiments from the Short & Sweet stamp set.  That little, inexpensive stamp set really touches on so many occasions, and Happy Mother's Day fit so well on the woodgrain plank.  Of course, this card will best be given in person and not mailed!
If you would like to make your own card, I am sharing my Cricut Design Space file with you.  You will need the CTMH Flower Market cartridge though.  Here is the link, enjoy!

Postcard Perfect Amazing Family Vacation Layout

I got the urge to play with paper last night.  I pulled out the pieces of my Postcard Perfect cardstock that were left after a big project (which I have not yet shared) and got to work.  I was inspired by a layout that I had seen on Pinterest, of course, and decided it would be perfect to use as a pattern for my layout.  I already know that I am going to use a picture of our family from a visit two summers ago.  I am so not a chronological scrapbooker, and that is ok to admit, right?  Scrapbooking should be enjoyable, so I refuse to feel pressure to complete a given year's worth of scrapbooking.
The layout began with a base sheet of small polka dotted cardstock.  I layered a sheet of that pretty white polka dotted velum, cut at 11 1/2" square.  Next up was a 10" square of palm tree cardstock.  A few banner strips of all different widths and lengths using scraps still in my Postcard Perfect paper pack, some zip strips running horizontally at the top, and a bunch of Starfish cut from a CTMH You Are Here Cricut Cartridge and out of Gold Glitter Paper.
Here is a close up of the starfish and star banner.  The stars were cut using Thin Cuts - Basic Stars, and I embossed them with a retired CTMH embossing folder for some extra texture and interest.  Do you see those little bitty stars?  They are the centers of the starfish that were left behind on my Cricut mat!  Lastly, the title was actually meant to be one big stamp from the Postcard Perfect Stamp Set.  My talented friend Alison Bawdy showed me some multicolored images that she had stamped and I wanted to try my own hand at that.  Well, it did not work so well for me!  So, I did the unthinkable...I CUT my stamp into three pieces!!!  It took a lot of guts to do it, but it allowed me to stamp three different colors in the title.  I love the way it turned out.  Thanks Alison!

Postcard Perfect Cut Above Kit with Extra Bling

Thank you for dropping by to visit me today!  Did you know that May is National Scrapbooking Month?  Close To My Heart debuted this beautiful Postcard Perfect suite of products to celebrate the occasion.  I was lucky enough to be able to get all of the products in my hand in February thanks to a special promotion that I earned as a consultant.  So, today, I am able to share with you my completed, blinged out version of the Postcard Perfect Cut Above Kit.

This kit has 6 easy to put together pages, page protectors and all that I have added was some Gold Shimmer Trim and accents with the Marvy LePen journaling pen.  Here is the link to just the Postcard Perfect Cut Above Kit.

I used that Gold Shimmer Trim on every page.  It really added just the touch of extra that I was going for.  I think that you can probably notice that I inked the edges of some of the punch out pieces, and you can really see that on the leaves in the layout right above.  I used CTMH Mini Pigment Inks to get those edges inked.  I might have even rearranged a few of the page elements too, to be a little more to my liking, but overall I kept it the same.  Feel free to click on any of the highlighted links to shop with me!  Remember, this six paged beauty is just $24.95 while supplies last!
And let's see if I can get the official CTMH Postcard Perfect video to load up below lol!

Dream Girl

Here is my little "Dream Girl".  Isn't she cute?  She is made from a stamp set called A Bushel & a Peck, which is our June 2018 Stamp of the Month from Close To My Heart.  That's right, she won't be available for purchase until June, that is, unless you are a consultant or sign up to be one during April, in which case you get this set along with three others as a bonus!  I would love to have you join my team, and you can find out more by clicking here.
I think she is just darling, and she reminds me of my second daughter, Isabella.  I also wanted to show  you this card in particular because it is made with CTMH Stargazer paper, and that will be retiring on April 30th.  Notice that the word dream is actually a card from a cut apart sheet that says "Dream Big".  My Dream Girl is colored with ShinHan Markers, and she is embellished with the now retired Heart Border Thin Cuts made with some Red Glitter Paper.
I hope you enjoy my little Dream Girl as much as I do.  I will keep posting projects made with A Bushel & a Peck until June, so don't worry, I won't let you forget about this adorable little stamp set.  Once June arrives, it will be available for only $5 with a $50 purchase on my website, andreasherman.closetomyheart.com.  Be sure to pick up some Stargazer paper before it retires in just 4 days!

Flower Market Banner by Judy Skeens

Do you happen to need a beautiful Mother's Day gift idea?
Well, look no further!  I wanted to share this very special project with you.  It was created by my friend, Judy Skeens.  Judy is a truly beautiful lady, inside and out, so it is no wonder to me that she is able to create such beauty to share with the world!   I fell in love with her banner, and immediately asked for her permission to share it with all of you.
Judy used her CTMH Flower Market Cricut Cartridge to make all of the beautiful flowers and flower pots.  Isn't it a work of heART?
I love how Judy layered so many different types of petals to build her flowers.  Thank you Judy, for allowing me to share this stunner with my blog followers!

This Is Me Cut Above Layouts for the Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Welcome to GIRLplusPAPER and my entry for the Joyful Stars April 2018 Blog Hop.  If you have arrived here from Marie's blog, NJ Stamping Queen, you are on the right track!
This month, CTMH is having so many great promotions.  For example, hostess have their choice of two different product bonuses.  One of them is the "This Is Me" Cut Above layout kit.
The first two pages of my kit provided me with plenty of space to complete my journaling.  It is a little difficult to capture the beautiful gold foil accents on camera, but I am hoping that you can see it just a little bit.
My next two pages detailed the actual graduation ceremony.  Do you see that one little Juniper colored journaling box on the right page?  That was one of the too many boxes.  I asked Katie to fill it out, and as you can see, she is a girl of few words, at least when it comes to journaling.  Thus, the too many journaling spots comments!
The last two pages captured our time after the ceremony.  The photos on the left page are in Flip Flaps.  I was able to included 6 photos on the left page by using them.  I used a couple of the stickers from the kit to use as little handles so opening the Flip Flaps was easier.  And it looked pretty.  I did add some Gold Shimmer Trim on my right page to bling it up a bit.
Here is a little up close detail photo.  I hope that you enjoyed my makeover of the This Is Me Cut Above Kit.  I should also mention that it includes all needed page protectors, so it is an amazing deal...6 pages for only $24.95!
Next up on the hop is the talented Krista of Krista's Crafty Corner.
